Day 3Aswan Edfu Temple

Start your morning with a delectable breakfast, followed by a horse carriage ride with your personal Egyptologist to explore the magnificent Edfu Temple. This mythical temple, located on the west bank of the Nile in Upper Egypt, was built between 237 BC and 57 BC and preserved the divine story of the battle between Horus and his villainous uncle Set.

After exploring the temple, return to your cruise for lunch and dinner. Spend the night onboard the cruise in Aswan, with a late-night arrival.

Day 4Kom Ombo & Philae Temple

Indulge in a delicious breakfast, and then continue your 7-night Nile cruise from Luxor to Aswan to explore the following highlights with your private Egyptologist:

The Aswan High Dam is a wonder of modern engineering, built in the 1960s and '70s to bring prosperity and progress to Egypt, showcasing the country's capabilities in the industrial age.

The Unfinished Obelisk is a remarkable testament to the ancient Egyptian mastery of architecture and craftsmanship. This unfinished obelisk was initially destined for the grand entrance of the Karnak Temples complex. Unfortunately, it was damaged during construction and left unfinished.

Explore the enchanting Philae Temple, dedicated to the goddess Isis and home to the timeless "Myth of Osiris," a golden tale that continues to captivate visitors to this day. Originally constructed in 380-362 BC by King Ptolemy II, the temple was later relocated to Agilkia Island as part of the UNESCO Nubia Campaign project in the 1970s, necessitated by the construction of the Aswan High Dam.

Day 5Abu Simbel

Start your day with breakfast; you will join your private Egyptologist guide for an early morning visit to the magnificent Abu Simbel temple optional private tour (for an additional cost of $110.00 US Dollars per person).

These grand temples were built by Ramses the Great (1279-1213 BCE) to honor Amun, Ra, and Ptah to showcase his power in battle in the Kadesh. The temple of King Ramses II is particularly striking and hosts the great sun festival on the 22nd of October and February of each year, while the second temple is dedicated to his beloved wife, Queen Nefertari.

Afterward, you will return to your cruise for a tasty lunch and dinner onboard.

Day 6Visit Kom Ombo Temple & overnight in Luxor

Set sail in the morning towards Kom Ombo, enjoying a delicious breakfast onboard the cruise.

Upon arrival, join your tour guide to explore the magnificent double temples of the hill of gold - the Kom Ombo Temple - built between 205 and 180 BC during the reign of King Ptolemy V in the Ptolemaic dynasty. The temple served as the worship house of Haroeris, "Horus, the Elder," to the north, and Sobek, the crocodile god of the Nile, to the south.

After your visit, continue sailing to Luxor, where you will arrive late at night. Enjoy your lunch and dinner onboard the cruise.

Day 7Hot Air Balloon & Luxor West Bank Best Attractions
